Copy invisible characters and preserve bio spacing

Social apps often trim empty lines or reject a message that contains only normal spaces. An invisible Unicode character can occupy a line without drawing a visible mark. This tool provides two commonly useful characters: Hangul Filler U+3164 and Zero-Width Space U+200B. It also formats multi-line bios by placing a filler on otherwise empty lines so the visual paragraph spacing has a better chance of surviving copy and paste.

These characters are not literally “nothing.” They are real Unicode code points. That distinction matters because platforms, fonts, moderation systems and text normalizers can treat them differently. A line that looks blank can still contain data.

How the bio formatter works

The formatter normalizes line endings, trims trailing spaces that can disappear during paste, and replaces fully blank lines with U+3164. A simple representation is: if line.trim() is empty, output the invisible filler; otherwise output the original text. The result keeps intentional paragraph gaps without filling every line with hidden characters.

Step-by-step use

  1. For a single blank character, tap Copy Invisible Space or Copy Zero-Width Space.
  2. Paste it into the target app and check whether that app preserves it.
  3. For a bio, type or paste normal text into the Bio text box and leave blank lines where spacing is desired.
  4. Select Format bio to convert empty lines into filler lines.
  5. Select Copy formatted bio and paste the result into Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram or another profile editor.
  6. Reopen the saved profile and visually confirm the spacing because some platforms normalize text after saving.

Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram use cases

On Instagram, creators often want separate lines for a description, location, contact note and link prompt. If ordinary blank lines collapse, a filler line can create visual breathing room. On WhatsApp, an invisible character can be useful when testing formatting or creating a visibly blank separator in a draft. Telegram bios and messages can also preserve some invisible Unicode characters, although client versions may behave differently.

Do not use invisible characters to impersonate another account, evade moderation, hide malicious links or mislead people about what a message contains. They are formatting characters, not a security feature.

India and Bangladesh context

Creators, small shops, local service providers and community pages in India and Bangladesh often maintain multilingual bios mixing English, Bangla and Hindi. Invisible filler lines can separate language blocks without adding decorative punctuation. Because Unicode is shared across languages, the same filler can sit between Bangla and Latin text without converting either script.

When copying between Android keyboards, desktop browsers and social apps, normalization may remove U+200B more aggressively than U+3164. That is why the tool offers both. Test the smallest change first and avoid stacking many hidden characters, which can make cursor movement and accessibility confusing.

Accessibility and cleanup

Screen readers may pause, ignore or announce unusual spacing differently. Hidden characters can also make search, word counts and text selection less predictable. Keep a clean plain-text copy of important profile information and use invisible spacing only where the visual layout genuinely needs it. The Clear button removes the working text from the page, while the copied result remains in your system clipboard until another copy action replaces it.

Frequently asked questions

Which invisible character should I try first?

Hangul Filler U+3164 is visually blank but occupies character space in many apps. Zero-Width Space U+200B is narrower and may be normalized away more often. Test the destination app.

Why did my blank line disappear after saving?

The platform may sanitize or normalize invisible Unicode characters. Try the other provided character or reduce the number of blank lines.

Can invisible text hide private information?

No. Invisible characters are not encryption and can be detected or revealed by software. Never treat them as a privacy mechanism.
